Swiss-based European energy company MET Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Levent Özcan Caner as Eastern European Sales Division Head.
Levent Özcan Caner joins MET as Eastern European Sales Division Head effective as of 7 April 2025. With MET's rapid growth and expansion into new countries across Europe, this new role will focus entirely on serving MET's Eastern European customers and expanding in the region to bring MET's sales and risk management services to more customers in Eastern Europe.
Levent Özcan Caner has recently been fulfilling executive roles in the renewable energy and power sectors. Most recently, he served as CEO of Türkerler Yenilenebilir Enerji A.Ş. and previously as Deputy General Manager at Borusan ENBW Enerji A.Ş. In these roles, he was responsible for managing traditional and digital electricity sales channels, the EV charging business, and a combined renewable energy portfolio exceeding 1 GW. Prior to that, he held various senior roles in the energy and petroleum industry as President, Vice Chairman of the Board and General Manager of regional energy companies in Turkey, UK, and Iraq.
