Swiss MET eyes renewables and Sines gas in Portugal
The company has seven solar plants and two wind farms (in Spain, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Poland) and a further 850 MW under development. In 2023, it imported more than 30 LNG cargoes into Europe, regasified at marine terminals in eight countries, including Spain.

MET Group starts construction of solar park in Romanian county of Dâmbovița
Swiss-based MET Group strengthens its presence in the Romanian market for renewable energies, commencing the construction of its 80 MWp solar project in the Răscăeți municipality (Dâmbovița county). The company’s renewable energy portfolio in Romania includes more than 260 MWp of photovoltaic power plants and 10 MW of co-located battery energy storage capacity.
