MET Group, one of the fastest growing European energy companies active in international natural gas, LNG and power markets, has signed a EUR 1.23 billion Syndicated Multicurrency Secured Revolving Borrowing Base Facility. Initially launched at EUR 1 billion, the Facility received strong support from both existing and new banking partners and closed after having achieved an oversubscription.
Dunamenti Power Plant, a member of MET Group, has launched an electrode boiler power-to-heat project, which will utilise excess green energy to produce hot water for heating purposes.
MET Group, a Swiss-based integrated European energy company and the International Judo Federation today announce a two-year partnership agreement – with MET becoming an official partner of the IJF World Tour and Judo for Good activities. The partnership was celebrated during the weekend, starting with a signing ceremony at the Paris Grand Slam 2023.
The construction works of MET Gerjen Solar Park and MET Söjtör Solar Park have been completed and the solar power plants have commenced commercial operations. The investments cover an area of 170 hectares altogether in the two Hungarian municipalities, where almost 180.000 solar panels have been installed. The completion of the projects was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Swiss-based MET Group has secured binding long-term LNG capacities at Deutsche ReGas’ floating LNG terminal in Lubmin (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany). The FSRU (Floating Storage Regasification Unit) on the German Baltic Sea coast will be officially inaugurated tomorrow in the presence of Olaf Scholz, Federal Chancellor, and Robert Habeck, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs.
