We are looking for a senior manager to lead the building and development of our new Sales Business Operations in Germany.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Creating and implementing strategic business plan, forecasts, and positioning on the market
  • Managing the establishment of the new company from all legal and regulatory perspective
  • Identifying market opportunities and solutions that can fill a specific niche and participating in early marketing activities to build brand awareness and manage various strategic development projects
  • Building up and managing financially viable sales channels
  • Assuming full P & L accountability and overall responsibility for the strategic leadership to achieve MET Group objectives in Germany and managing overall operation
  • Fostering and developing relationships with potential key customers and act as the representative of the company in liason with the local authorities and professional organizations
  • Setting up the company structure and oversee the hiring and training of the local team
  • Agreeing annual budgets and producing a detailed annual business operating plan
  • Producing business performance reports to submit to the management
  • Establish business processes for sales systems and reporting tools, monitoring the effectiveness of sales efforts and make recommendations for any improvements aligning with the business objectives
  • Build the sales support structure, creates processes that enable visible and transparent management that bring about increased sales effectiveness

Required qualifications, skills & knowledge

  • Master’s degree in economics/business administration
  • Over 10 years in working experience in BtoB sales operation on the German energy sector
  • Demonstrated leadership within a high-performance sales environment
  • Experience managing a cross-functional team to enable them to achieve sales objectives and targets
  • Deep understanding of the local politics to enforce laws and regulations
  • Excellent big-picture and strategic thinker
  • Initiative and confidence to start things from scratch
