Enthusiastic runners and team spirit despite the bad weather – the B2Run competition was all about the joy of being active. MET Group was once again a regional sponsor.
12 cheerful MET Group colleagues participated in the B2Run competition in Zug. The May 20 running event was part of the 2025 B2Run series, also organised in Zurich, Lausanne, Basel, Bern and St. Gallen.
Swiss-based companies and their employees are targeted by the B2Run platform, offering an ideal occasion for teambuilding and health promotion. The competition covered a distance of 5.7 kilometres, which was deliberately chosen to be rather short so that it was feasible for everyone – even complete beginners.
B2Run motivates a healthy lifestyle and focuses on providing a real team experience. The team spirit was highlighted by all MET participants wearing the same company-branded T-shirts at the competition, and some colleagues who could not run came to cheer the others. In spite of bad weather conditions, this year’s event was again characterized by a strong participation, with around 1,300 runners from the Zug region.
The best result from the MET team was achieved by Stefano Invernizzi (Credit Risk Manager) who completed the race in just 21 minutes and 29 seconds. Congratulations!
