December 20, 2023
Based on the agreement signed on 20 December 2023, MVM Green Generation Ltd. will acquire the 63 MWp Tázlár solar power plant owned by HO-ME 2000 Vagyonkezelő Kft., MASPED Erste Magyar Általános Szállítmányozási Zrt. and MET Green Asset Holding AG. MET has a 20% stake in the power plant.

As a professional investor, MET Group acquired a 20% stake in the Tázlár photovoltaic project in 2021, which was under construction at that time. The power plant started commercial operations in January 2022.

Under the agreement signed on 20 December 2023, MET Green Asset Holding AG, in line with the majority shareholder, sells its stake to MVM Green Generation Kft. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2024.

Swiss-based MET Group operates five solar power plants in Hungary, one solar plant in Spain and two wind farms in Bulgaria. Other renewables projects are at the development or implementation phase in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Romania, and Poland.
