MET Group’s Swiss headquarters in Baar hosted a significant event for the Talent Development Programme (TDP) Community. The gathering celebrated the achievements of all TDP graduates while also welcoming new participants.
The morning session was dedicated to new TDP participants, starting with a comprehensive Programme Introduction and Career Development session. This was followed by insightful discussions with the heads of MET Group’s divisions, as well as with MET Group Chairman and CEO Benjamin Lakatos. These sessions provided new participants with a deeper understanding of the company’s vision, segments – and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.
All current and former TDP participants joined the afternoon session. The event's highlight was the “Career Inspirations” session with Executive Board member Alexander Alting Von Geusau, whose insights and encouragement resonated deeply with the audience.
This was followed by an engaging activity, the “World Café” which provided a unique platform for small group discussions, where participants exchanged ideas and perspectives on various topics. Afterwards, attendees participated in a webinar by two-time Olympian, coach and author Sherry Winn on “Resilience: The Secret to Meeting Challenges That Seem Impossible”. Her presentation on the Olympian Mindset equipped participants with strategies to overcome challenges and be resilient.
The evening part took place at the Bossard Arena, Legends Club, and began with an inspiring speech by MET Group CEO Benjamin Lakatos and MET Group HR Director Tünde Tóth.
The night continued with the “Connecting Beyond Business” activity, during which participants engaged in conversations beyond their professional lives, discovering shared interests and passions. This was followed by a competitive quiz that engaged everyone, and a delicious dinner.
The event concluded with structured conversational rounds, during which participants discussed various aspects of the TDP programme, career paths, opportunities, and learning.
We are thrilled to have organized the first TDP Community event, which celebrated the achievements of TDP graduates, welcomed new participants with open arms, and fostered a sense of community and belonging. We are eager to see the TDP community members' future journey ahead!
