Group Chief Financial Officer
Sven Kirch is the Group Chief Financial Officer of MET Group and a Member of the Executive Board of MET Holding AG, based in Baar, Switzerland. Mr. Kirch joined MET Group in December 2021 from Royal Dutch Shell where he had worked for over 16 years in senior Finance Management roles. In his latest role, he was the VP Finance for Planning/Appraisal/Reporting and the Controller for Shell’s Integrated Gas, Renewables and Energies Solutions (IGR&ES) business. Previously he served as Business Advisor and Chief of Staff to Shell’s CFO.
Over the course of his career, he has built broad finance competences across operational finance management, reporting and capital management related processes such as strategy, portfolio / planning and M&A. Mr. Kirch holds a Masters in Economics from the University of St Gallen/HSG and a CEMS Masters from the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE). He is also a CFA charter holder.
